Turn a theme into a character
Our contests give creators a shared brief for a new Kyn. Bring the idea into the character's appearance, personality and background, rather than leaving it in the costume alone. The entry still needs a motivation and a voice that can sustain a conversation. Leave room for another person's response instead of deciding the whole story before the first exchange.
Community attention and team choices
Contests recognize work through community interaction and selections made by our team. The archive brings together themes, published entries and completed results. Compare how different creators approached the same idea, or meet characters that drew attention. Entering a contest does not guarantee placement or a prize.
Use the event's own conditions
Check eligibility, deadlines and any rewards for the particular event before preparing an entry. A past brief can inspire new work without reopening the competition. Our character creation rules apply to contest entries as they do to other public Kyns.
