A character to maintain
Retired public Kyns can enter our auction house, where the winning bidder becomes the character's maintainer. Bids use Souls, our credit currency. Adoption concerns the Kyn itself and the creative responsibility of looking after it. A card depicting that Kyn is a separate collectible: owning the artwork does not make you the character's maintainer, and adopting a character is not simply adding an image to a collection.
Compare the listings
The board separates running auctions, sales history and for-sale listings. Sort by ending time, price or level to examine the details that matter to you. Consider the character's identity and the work you would want to preserve. Level and earlier bidding activity provide context, but neither tells you whether a Kyn fits the direction you have in mind.
Check the commitment
Read the current listing and adoption terms before committing Souls. An old offer or saved countdown cannot confirm that a character remains available. Maintaining a public Kyn is also different from buying exclusive access to a private conversation. Decide what you want to continue about the character before deciding what to bid.
